Our vision is TO INCREASE THE overall WELLBEING OF 50,000 kiwis.

Our mission is to help kiwis learn how to decompress, recharge, optimise performance and find a more grounded life and workplace. TWC was founded on the belief that healthier communities are better places to live, work and play.

At The Wellness Club, wellness is more than just physical activity or meditation; it’s about finding balance across mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of life. We’re committed to offering our community a diverse range of approaches, ideas, and products to help achieve optimal wellness.

Meet the team

Kristy Taylor

Kristy, has been exploring health and wellness for over a decade. Starting her career as a beauty therapist she learnt early the importance of self care and taking time out for yourself.

She consciously and consistently lives with a holistic approach to daily life and inspires others with her eagerness to do the same. Having delved into a wide range of techniques, products and offerings she has a passion for all things wellness from the way we move our bodies to the food we nourish our bodies with.

Knowing the pressures life can have on being a busy working mum, she truly understands the value of prioritising health for both our mental and physical state of wellbeing.

Continuing this deep passion Kristy has recently qualified as a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor through Breath Education. With the vision to combine all her experience and knowledge to inspire and guide others on their wellness journey. Kristy understands on a personal level what it takes to become the best versions of yourself from the inside out and is committed to inspiring everyone she meets on that journey.

Ashlee Rose

With over a decade of leadership and personal development experience, Ashlee excels in driving business growth, developing strategies, and enhancing people and performance. Having completed various self development programs and trainings including yoga, breath work, leadership, meditation and mindfulness.

Ashlee is genuinely passionate about using the philosophies of yoga, off the mat in leadership, relationships and life. She has practical experience using this approach to create hugely successful business and personal outcomes.

She believes that more grounded, aware and centred people create healthier, more profitable workplaces as well as more enjoyable family dynamics and communities. She has a unique approach to teaching and incorporating these modalities into your life or workplace.

TWC exists because I want to help people make time for themselves, find their inner calm and build teams and companies that are supportive, growth minded and resilient. I want to help people improve their day to day life and relationships; to give them the ability to be better equipped to navigate life more lovingly. It does take time to learn to breathe, meditate, switch off and be mindful. But trust me, it’s a tool that can change your life, your relationships, your teams and your company. It’s worth it.

Sam Kimber

With a genuine passion for wellness and a deep understanding of the mind and body’s potential, Sam is dedicated to helping you build strength, enhance mental resilience, and achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.

Sam is a qualified, evidence-based Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor. Believing that movement is essential to thrive, Sam takes the latest research with a personalised approach to ensure every session is both effective, fun and accessible for everyone. Certified as a Cold Water Therapy Coach, Sam has attended various workshops and has mastered the integration of breath techniques into cold water therapy. She understands how breath can profoundly impact pain relief and energy levels and her expertise lies in leveraging these techniques to enhance well-being before, during, and after cold water immersion.

Sam has also been in the health care space for nearly 15 years as a Radiation Therapist, supporting individuals going through the hardest times of their lives. She has experienced the impacts of low staff morale (especially post pandemic) and knows very well the importance of wellness in the workplace - motivating her to organise workshops and events to bring staff wellness to light in the hospital setting.

So why TWC? After years of living with chronic back pain, I was on a mission to find something that helped me. I knew it wouldn't be a quick fix so I started Reformer Pilates, and dabbled in breathwork and contrast therapy. I am now committed to helping others find the modalities that work for them so they can move fearlessly and understand that they are more than their pain.

Sam’s blend of passion and compassion aims to inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and find that thing that clicks for them, allowing for a more happier and beautiful life.

Growth

Consistency and small incremental steps are the pillars of achieving your wellness goals. We know you could climb quickly, we know you could also fall down.  What is important is you pick yourself up and keep going at your own pace.

Connect

Life can sometimes feel isolating. TWC focuses on fostering warm, open, and conversational relationships.  It's important for us to create opportunities for our clients to connect, build meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging.

Freedom & balance

We envision a workplace where personal freedom supports the balance essential for a happy and healthy life. We set our schedule, pursue personal interests and manage work-life responsibilities to ensure we live fulfilling and healthy lives.
