Waiver / T & C’s
This page explains the terms and conditions when using any of The Wellness Club Ltd services and facilities. By completing the form on this page, purchasing a ticket or engaging with our services you acknowledge that you have read and understood the conditions and agree to participate in any activity within your own limits, listening to your body and ceasing any activity that doesn’t feel right or you have any of the medical conditions listed below:
REFUNDS
All payments for event tickets, retreats or the like are final, and refunds are unavailable. You can, however, transfer your ticket to someone else. They will need to complete and sign the following waiver to participate. Please let us know via email if you wish to transfer your ticket to someone else and please provide us with their name and phone number. No refunds will be given, if you are unable to find someone else to transfer/onsell your ticket to.
Activity: Contrast Therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Mindfulness, and Breathwork
Acknowledgment of Risks: You, as the participant, acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in activities provided by The Wellness Club Ltd and understand that these activities may involve physical exertion, including but not limited to, yoga, pilates, contrast therapy (sauna and ice bath), mindfulness practices, and breathwork.
You are aware that participation in these activities carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury or adverse health effects and acknowledge that it is your individual responsibility to listen to your body, recognise your own limits, and participate at your own risk and understanding.
Medical Conditions: You understand that certain individuals should not participate in sauna or ice bath activities. By engaging in any activities with The Wellness Club you confirm that you do not have any of the following conditions, and if you do, you have consulted with a healthcare provider before participating:
Heart disease or heart-related issues
High or low blood pressure
Respiratory issues (e.g., asthma)
Pregnant or postpartum
Open wounds or skin infections
Any serious medical conditions or illnesses
Sensitivity to extreme temperatures
Social Media/Photography: Photographs and videos of participants in a TWC event or activity may be taken during the event for social media and promotional purposes. Please let us know if you do not consent to us using or taking your image.
Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the activities offered by The Wellness Club Ltd and in completing the form on this page as agreement you release and hold harmless The Wellness Club Ltd, its owners, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of participation in these activities, including but not limited to injuries, illness, or accidents that may occur.
Agreement: Attending our retreat, or completing any form on this website to purchase a ticket acknowledges that you have read this waiver in its entirety and understand the risks involved in participating in these activities. You agree to participate voluntarily and assume all risks associated with your participation.
General Saftey Guidelines
Hydration:
Drink plenty of water before and after your session. Additionally, consider adding electrolytes to your water to replace the minerals lost through sweating.
Supervision:
Children and individuals with specific health concerns should be supervised. Keep a phone or emergency contact device nearby.
Health Conditions:
We ask that you contact your GP if you are concerned about safely using the sauna. Avoid use if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular issues, respiratory conditions, diabetes, or recent injuries unless approved by a medical professional.
Emergency Procedures:
If you feel dizzy or unwell, exit immediately and seek help if needed.
A first aid kit is available. The TWC team are trained in basic first aid and CPR.
Avoid Alcohol:
Do not use sauna or ice bath after drinking alcohol.
Cooling Down:
Allow time to cool down between sauna and ice bath sessions.
Listen to Your Body:
If you feel discomfort, exit the sauna or ice bath immediately
