Kristy's Famous Bliss Balls
At our retreats we love to share all sorts of wellness modalities and concepts including food!
As humans our relationship with food is complex and linked to survival, culture, social interaction and a lot of times plays a huge role in our perception of self.
Balance is a TWC value which to us is all about balancing life’s commitments, joys, food, time and energy. Balance with food means welcoming different foods in moderation. Or looking at all the healthy and nutritious options that are available (healthy chocolate options to curb a sweet tooth) rather than focusing on what you “can’t” eat. Or choosing something that nourishes your soul rather than providing complete “nutritious” value, think catching up with a friend over a wine.
Kirsty made some very nutritious and tasty bliss balls as a choco/sweet tooth fix. They were such a hit at our retreats that we’ve been requested multiple times to post the recipe. Please Enjoy!
